The New EU ports and the industrial maritime strategies adopted by the European Commission will pave the way for ports and maritime transport. The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF-T) programme is supporting the upgrade of infrastructure across maritime transport in Europe and contributing to European Maritime Space.
These EU funded projects are helping decarbonise maritime transport, supporting the use of digital technologies in shipping, better connecting ports with the hinterland and incentivise renewable energy generation in the ports.
