On 6th Nov 2025 our CEO Stefano Mainero was in Brussels attending the “Turkey-EU Business Forum 2025” that he found insightful. The event was divided into five panels discussing highly interesting topics:

  • Powering the Future – Energy, Innovation, and Trade in the Net-Zero Era
  • Sustainable Mobility Towards Net-Zero
  • Smart Cities, Infrastructure, and Urban Innovation
  • The Middle Corridor: Advancing Global Value Chain Resilience
  • A Roadmap for EU–Türkiye Strategic Alignment

It emerged that stronger ties between Turkey and the EU would become beneficial for both parties, taking into account the current geopolitical instability.

Both the EU and Turkey representatives highlighted a few issues that are preventing the parties from collaborating more deeply, however there is a sincere hope that these gaps could be filled in soon.

A relevant topic concerned “The Middle Corridor“, also known as the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), that is quickly becoming a key trade link between Western China and Europe, bypassing both Russia’s Northern Corridor and the Suez Canal.

This participation helped our CEO and EPN Consulting R&I have a better view of the upcoming future within and beyond the new Horizon Europe 2026-27 calls and the new 2028-2034 EU Multi-Financial Framework (MFF).
