As we all know, the end of the year is quite a hectic period, squeezed between the resume of activities after Summer holidays and Christmas holidays. Besides, a number of updates are published and this, in our work, implies reading and assessing work programmes of Horizon Europe Clusters to understand which funding opportunities are going to be available and in which specific areas.
This year we have also started a massive reading and assessment work concerning key topics and strategies. In particular, we have been assessing the Draghi report, the EU Annual Report on 2024 on the State of Regions and Cities, the EC STEP (Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform) document, the “Addressing European Research and Innovation Challenges” study and the “Act, Align and Accelerate” study on Research, Technology and Innovation to boost European Competitiveness.
All this immense work aims to better understand the current situation and position of the EU and which strategies have been (or are going to be) designed to make the EU stand out on the global scenario.
What we are going to learn from these documents will also be transferred to our Clients and Members to make them progress faster in the market.
Besides, we are getting prepared on assisting our Clients to take part in EU-funded projects during 2025. The EIC Work Programme 2025 was published last 29 Oct 2024 and shows some changes from the 2o24. Additional Horizon Europe Clusters work programmes for 2025 are expected to be published soon. As always, we are going read and understand them to be ready and advise our Clients on the most suitable calls for proposals they should go to in relation to their innovation ideas they have in mind.
