On 01 Jan 2025 Poland assumed the presidency of the Council of the European Union. This presidency begins during a challenging time marked by conflicts, and their task will be to convince all 27 EU member states that Europe can continue to be the safest, most stable place on Earth. Security will be our top priority during the upcoming six months.
The Polish Presidency will support activities strengthening European security in all its dimensions: external, internal, information, economic, energy, food, and health. Details of the priorities are described here.
